Transfer Heroku Teams to and From Enterprise Accounts

Enterprise admins can transfer Heroku teams to their Enterprise account using the Heroku Dashboard. You can move teams from any account as long as you’re an admin on the Heroku team you want to transfer.
You must move any Heroku Teams with resources to your Enterprise account to prevent incurring charges on the credit card used for those teams.
Transfer a Team to an Enterprise Account
On your Enterprise account page, click Add Team
. Click the Select Existing Team
tab to display the teams you can move into the Enterprise account. We only show teams that you’re an admin for.
Click the Transfer Team
button beside each team you want to move and type in the team name in the confirmation modal to start the transfer process. It can take up to 10 minutes for the process to complete.
When you transfer a Heroku team to your Enterprise account, we transfer all users and apps managed under that team. All existing users retain the same roles and permissions they had from before the transfer.
Although we retain the permissions for your existing users, any new team member that you create only has view-only permissions by default for all team apps. You can choose to change permissions for each user per app.

If your team incurred any usage prior to transferring it to your Enterprise account, we’ll invoice you for that usage. Any usage incurred after the transfer counts against your Enterprise licenses.
Transfer Team from an Enterprise Account
To transfer an Enterprise team back to a Heroku Team, you must contact Heroku Support. When you transfer a team out of your Enterprise account, it becomes a Heroku Team where users only have static permissions.
If your team incurred any usage prior to transferring it out of your Enterprise account, that usage counts against your Enterprise licenses. We’ll invoice you for any usage incurred after transferring the team out of your Enterprise account.
